These Terms govern your use of the Keepframe browser extension, website and related services (“Keepframe” or the “Service”).
By installing, purchasing or using Keepframe, you agree to these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not affected.
Keepframe is a learning and productivity tool for YouTube. Depending on the current version and plan, it may provide Live Frames, saved Frames, notes, transcripts, AI-generated briefs, study notes, summaries, multilingual output and export features.
Keepframe is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
Keepframe depends on YouTube, supported browser functionality, video captions or transcripts and other third-party services. We therefore cannot guarantee that every video, browser version, device or third-party service will always work with Keepframe.
The Service may evolve over time. We may add, modify, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary to improve, maintain, secure or develop Keepframe.
Keepframe may offer Free, Pro, Power or other plans.
Current prices, plan features, limits and commercial terms are shown on the Keepframe website and, for paid subscriptions, during checkout. The terms shown when you purchase a subscription form part of your agreement with us.
Unless stated otherwise, one video analysis counts as one analysis.
Free-plan features and limits may change over time.
Where Power is described as providing unlimited video analyses, this means that there is no normal monthly analysis quota for ordinary personal use.
Unlimited use does not include automated, abusive, shared, resale or commercial-scale use. Reasonable technical safeguards may apply to protect the Service, third-party infrastructure and other users.
We may offer free trials. Trial length, eligibility and renewal conditions are shown before activation. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, a paid subscription may automatically begin and the payment method provided at checkout may be charged.
Repeated or abusive attempts to obtain additional trials may be restricted.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.
Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing period shown at checkout unless cancelled.
You may cancel at any time using the subscription-management functionality provided to you. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless applicable law or our refund policy provides otherwise, paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Uninstalling Keepframe does not cancel a subscription.
If you change your mind within 14 days of a payment, contact us and we will refund that payment, subject to fraud prevention and applicable law.
After that period, cancellation normally stops the next renewal and does not create an automatic right to a refund for the unused part of an already-paid billing period, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Keepframe does not require a traditional user account for its core browser-extension experience.
Certain technical identifiers and information may nevertheless be processed where necessary to operate the Service, manage usage, subscriptions, security, fraud prevention and functionality described in our Privacy Policy.
Saved Frames, personal notes and certain other information may be stored locally in your browser or device.
If you uninstall the extension, clear browser data, remove the browser profile, lose the device or otherwise delete locally stored information, that information may be permanently lost.
We cannot restore information that was stored only on your device.
Your use of Keepframe is also governed by the current Keepframe Privacy Policy.
Some Keepframe content is generated using artificial intelligence and automated processing.
AI-generated material can be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or outdated.
Keepframe also relies on source videos and transcripts that may themselves contain mistakes, omissions or bias. We do not independently verify every statement in a video, transcript or generated output.
Generated material is provided as a learning and productivity aid and should not be treated as an authoritative source or professional advice.
You are responsible for checking important information before relying on it, publishing it or using it for consequential decisions.
Do not rely on Keepframe as a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, tax, safety or other professional advice.
Keepframe does not own YouTube videos, transcripts, images or other third-party source material merely because that material is processed through the Service.
Rights in source material remain with their respective rights holders.
We do not claim ownership of personal notes that you create in Keepframe.
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use, edit, save, print and share output generated for you by Keepframe for lawful purposes.
Using Keepframe does not grant you additional rights in an underlying video, transcript, image, quotation, trademark or other third-party content.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use, publication, redistribution or commercial use of generated materials complies with applicable copyright and other third-party rights.
You may use Keepframe only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, unlawful use, circumvention of safeguards or material breaches of these Terms.
Where reasonably practicable, we may contact a paid user before permanent termination. We may act immediately where necessary to protect the Service, users, payment systems or third-party infrastructure.
We aim to keep Keepframe available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, security incidents, browser changes, YouTube changes, AI providers, hosting providers, payment services, internet failures or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may change technical providers, AI models, interfaces and functionality as Keepframe develops.
We may also change future pricing, plan packaging and Free-plan limits.
We will not intentionally materially reduce the core functionality of an already-paid subscription without reasonable notice, except where a change is necessary for security, legal compliance, technical reasons or because a third-party dependency has materially changed or become unavailable.
Price changes do not apply retroactively to billing periods already paid for.
Keepframe is provided as a learning and productivity tool.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on generated output, loss of locally stored information, interruption of third-party services or inability to use the Service, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
You are responsible for keeping copies of important material and independently verifying important information.
Where applicable law allows financial liability to be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a paid Keepframe subscription will not exceed the amount paid by you for Keepframe during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or any mandatory rights available to consumers.
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer residing elsewhere, this choice of law does not remove mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of habitual residence.
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because of changes to the Service, law, security requirements or our commercial model. The current version and effective date will be published on the Keepframe website.
